Saltwater Country works towards providing direct training and employment opportunities through Saltwater Academy including partnerships for professional development, diversionary programs for disengaged community members, content creation and event management for our more creative members. Saltwater Academy is a unique Western Australian training and development resource that not only creates valuable community engagement but has truly amazing outcomes for the youth of Broome and Indigenous people across the Kimberley.

Staying true to the legacy of those that walked this land before us and endured developing the cattle industry in the North, it is important to Saltwater Academy to collaborate with industry partners to create education opportunities for the next generation of Indigenous Cattle Industry workers and leaders. Saltwater Academy hopes to facilitate the ongoing delivery of Agribusiness professional skills and career development opportunities for all Indigenous Stations.
